These figures cover ZIP codes 78701, 78703, 78704, 78731, 78746, 78730, 78732, 78733, 78735, 78738, 78739, 78750, 78759.

Over the last 12 months, 3,709 homes closed in Austin, up 7.4% from the 12 months before. The median sale price was $897,000 (down 0.3% year over year), and the median home sold in 35 days (faster by 20.5% than a year earlier). There are 1,437 homes for sale right now, about 4.6 months of inventory at the current pace, which by the common rule of thumb is a fairly balanced market.
