Over the last 12 months, 4,979 homes closed in Katy, down 3.9% from the 12 months before. The median sale price was $390,000 (down 0.5% year over year), and the median home sold in 27 days (longer by 17.4% than a year earlier). There are 2,130 homes for sale right now, about 5.1 months of inventory at the current pace, which by the common rule of thumb is a fairly balanced market.
